Xutai Machinery has independently developed a new-generation hydraulic system that utilises a 5-ton hydraulic cylinder to provide smooth and precise motion control. The dual-arm design allows for multi-angle and multi-directional adjustment to adapt to complex welding scenarios.

Following this upgrade, the wire feed bracket now boasts a load capacity of 80–120 kg, ensuring stable hovering of the SPH-505 hydraulic welding boom and preventing the front arm from swaying or veering off course due to imbalance during the welding process.

● Floor-mounted column installation: The column is secured to the floor using bolts, allowing for flexible positioning according to the location of the welding station;

● Workshop steel beam installation: The unit is mounted directly onto the steel beams of the workshop structure, effectively saving floor space and improving the utilisation of the factory premises.

How is the load-bearing capacity of the SPH-505 hydraulic welding boom tested?

1. Static load test

Install the SPH-505 hydraulic welding boom in position, attach the standard weight assembly, and apply loads in stages from the rated load to 1.25 times the rated load to 1.5 times the rated load, allowing the structure to stand for 10–30 minutes.

Observation: No plastic deformation, no cracks in the welds, no structural deformation, and no abnormal noises.

If none of the above conditions are present after 30 minutes, the product is deemed to have passed.

2. Dynamic Test

The SPH-505 hydraulic welding boom is repeatedly raised and lowered under rated load, with the main boom rotating 180° and the wire feeder arm rotating 320°, and subjected to start-stop cycles. Check for any vibration, looseness or fatigue cracks. If none of the above issues occur during one hour of dynamic testing, the product is deemed to have passed inspection.

3.Once the above static and dynamic tests meet the acceptance criteria, the quality control department applies labels and affixes a certificate of conformity, and the product is released for market distribution.
