● Free standing column installation requires no attachment to the building structure, offering flexible layout options and making it suitable for new or standalone welding stations;

● The steel beams are installed by being directly secured to the workshop’s steel structure and steel beams, effectively saving floor space and improving the utilisation of the factory premises.

1. Static load test

Install the SPE-605 electric vacuum welding boom in position, attach the standard weight assembly, and apply loads in stages from the rated load to 1.25 times the rated load to 1.5 times the rated load, allowing the unit to stand for 10–30 minutes.

Observation: No plastic deformation, no cracks in the welds, no structural deformation, and no abnormal noises.

If none of the above conditions are observed after 30 minutes, the product is deemed compliant.

2. Dynamic Test

The SPE-605 electric vacuum welding boom is repeatedly raised and lowered under the rated load, rotated 180°, with the wire feeder arm rotated 320°, and subjected to start-stop cycles to check for any vibration, looseness or fatigue cracks. If none of the aforementioned issues occur during one hour of continuous dynamic testing, the product is deemed to have passed inspection.

3.Once the product has met the requirements of the above static and dynamic tests, the quality control department will affix labels and a certificate of conformity, and the product will be released for sale.
